Some of the finished work inside.  It is a real work of art, the original details have been brought back after being covered with layers of paint.  The dome, rotunda, visitor center, and north lawn are currently under construction.  

Drive Home from Nebraska

Came back from Nebraska on US 75.  All kinds of construction with "follow me" vehicles at several stretches.

I came up to Omaha today for the Air Force Air Show at Offutt AFB.
I will be attending tomorrow, Sunday.  Took a long zig zag course up here on a rainy day and as it turns out, the show was cancelled.  I spent some time in Iowa at Council Bluffs then into Omaha to look around the Univ of Nebraska at Omaha.  

Air Force Reunion

Been a member now for 1 1/2 years and 3 reunions behind me (2 at Orlando and  1 to Vegas).  All were to give their preference for the next, I threw in Branson and it got one vote besides mine.  The big favorites were tied between Nashville and Vegas.

All seem to get a kick out of me on the canoe trip in Orlando in March of this year:
